Expert facilitation for all of your team’s design challenges.
With eleven years of experience as a designer, strategist, and educator, I help teams tackle complex design and innovation challenges. My work has spanned diverse contexts, from guiding product teams through MVP feature prioritization, to facilitating executive discussions on AI usage policies, to leading strategic planning for new graduate design programs. I excel in situations where teams need clear structure, a boost of energy, and a neutral voice to propel them forward.

Design Sprints
Inspired by the New York Times Bestseller, Sprint, I lead teams through the collaborative process of choosing a problem to chase after and then rapidly generating, prototyping, and testing solutions. Lasting anywhere from three to five days, design sprints aim to accelerate the design process, gather user feedback early in the product development cycle, and ultimately, reduce the likelihood of costly mistakes later.
✔︎ Clarity on a problem that is impacting your customers
✔︎ Low-fidelity works-like prototypes that are tested for desirability
✔︎ Improved collaboration and alignment across teams
-
Foundation Sprints
Before building a new product or feature, ensure your team is aligned on the impact you want to make. Through a foundation sprint, I guide teams through one to two days of focused exercises designed to achieve customer alignment, identify your competitive differentiation, and develop a clear, testable hypothesis for your upcoming project.
✔︎ Shared understanding of who your real customer is
✔︎ Stress-tested assumptions before a project begins
✔︎ The exact problem you add your team hope to solve
-
Human-Centered Design Trainings & Workshops
I design and facilitate learning experiences tailored to where your team is, whether they are new to human-centered design or looking to deepen their practice. Each session is highly interactive and carefully crafted, giving your team a set of practical techniques for tackling intricate business challenges while keeping your users or customers at the center of the process.
✔︎ Innovative design methods your team can use from day one
✔︎ A deeper understanding of your customers and their needs
✔︎ Shared frameworks and vocabulary that improve collaboration
-
Customer Discovery & User Research Projects
Every significant design decision should be led by your knowledge of the users and stakeholders, yet many teams struggle to bridge the gap between data collection and meaningful, useful insights. I can either upskill your team in advanced user research methods, like combining qualitative insights with quantitative data for a more complete picture, or partner directly with you to conduct user-facing sessions and facilitate synthesis that transforms findings into actionable insights that can inform your business strategy and design process.
✔︎ Expert-led research execution and synthesis
✔︎ Well-crafted research artifacts that tell compelling stories
✔︎ Clear understanding of user needs that drives decisions

Ideation to Prototyping Deep Dive
Your team has a problem worth solving. Now they need the techniques to generate fresh, novel solutions and the hands-on skills to bring those ideas to life. This session moves your team from concept to tangible prototype using proven design methods, from sketching and storyboarding to physical modeling and click-through prototypes, while also exploring how AI design tools can accelerate the process without losing the human judgment that makes prototyping valuable. This is not an introduction to a series of design thinking methods. This is a carefully scaffolded two to three day workshop that gives your team deep, hands-on practice with 18 tools and techniques spanning solo and group ideation, low to high fidelity prototyping, and design decision-making.
✔︎ The ability to move from ideas to testable prototypes quickly
✔︎ Confidence and craft across a range of prototyping methods
✔︎ Strategies for incorporating AI design tools into your process
-
Team Collaboration & Connection Sessions
The best work happens when people feel safe, heard, and genuinely connected to one another. These sessions focus on helping your team build trust, navigate conflict productively, and develop collaborative intelligence that makes hard work feel less hard and more fun. The result is a team that communicates better, moves faster, and brings out the best in each other.
✔︎ Increased trust and psychological safety across roles
✔︎ Better communication habits that reduce friction
✔︎ Stronger relationships and a more collaborative team culture

Why You Need a Facilitator
Bringing in a facilitator allows teams to fully participate without having to worry about managing the process or agenda. A skilled facilitator brings structure, keeps discussions focused, and ensures every voice is heard, especially in high-stakes or cross-functional meetings. I also believe facilitators like myself can bring energy and humor to a session that might otherwise be tense or dry. Often, just having someone with front-of-room experience who knows how to give clear instructions can make or break whether your team can move forward together.
Beyond the topic being covered or the decision that needs to be made, my style of facilitation ensures a lasting effect where teams and individuals learn how to improve their meeting hygiene and create more engaging sessions on their own. I specialize in helping teams learn new skills and move from ambiguity to alignment, using proven frameworks like Six Thinking Hats, ORID, World Café, Think-Pair-Share, Gibbs' Reflective Cycle, and Design Thinking.
The key to all good facilitation, and why you may want someone like me to join your team for an afternoon or a few days, is neutrality. There is something powerful about a neutral voice in the room, someone who can draw everyone in and keep the focus where it needs to be.
